Window World, Incorporated’s Intranet Portal Acceptable Use Policy

The Window World intranet portal is a secure online platform designed to facilitate resource-sharing, and communication among Window World, its franchisees, and authorized users. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) establishes guidelines for appropriate use to ensure a safe, productive, and respectful online environment. By accessing the intranet portal, you agree to comply with the terms of this AUP.
1. Purpose of the Intranet Portal
The intranet portal is intended for authorized employees to access resources, tools, and information.

Only Window World, Inc., its employees, franchisees, certain franchisee employees and certain independent contractors with valid credentials are authorized to access the intranet portal. Sharing your login credentials or granting unauthorized access to others is strictly prohibited.
3. Acceptable Use Guidelines
Users are expected to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure the security and efficiency of the portal:

- Use the portal only for official Window World business.
- Keep login credentials confidential and change passwords regularly.
- Log out after each session, especially when using a shared or public computer.
- Report any security breaches or unauthorized access immediately to IT.

- DO NOT share confidential information, trade secrets, or sensitive personal information unless necessary and authorized.
- Follow data privacy guidelines when handling sensitive information.
- Respect intellectual property rights.
4. Prohibited Activities
To protect the security and integrity of the intranet portal, the following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Attempting to bypass, disable, or alter any security measures on the portal.
- Using the portal to download, distribute, or upload malicious software or unauthorized applications.
- Sharing login credentials with unauthorized users.
- Using the portal to engage in any illegal activities, including unauthorized access or hacking attempts.
- Conducting personal business or commercial activities unrelated to Window World on the portal.
5. Monitoring and Privacy
Window World reserves the right to monitor intranet portal activity to ensure compliance with this policy. However, this monitoring will be conducted in accordance with applicable privacy laws and its privacy policies.
6. Violations of the Policy
Any violation of this AUP may result in revocation of access and disciplinary action from your hiring[DS1] authority, up to and including termination of employment. Serious breaches may also be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.
7. Changes to the Policy
Window World may revise this policy periodically. The updated policy will be posted on the intranet portal.
